Joint research team has found eight types of human papillomavirus (HPV) that trigger 90 percent of cervical cancers worldwide. This finding is important for the development of cervical vaccine better. Drug manufacturer GlaxoSmithKline and Merck & Co. indeed have created a vaccine to prevent this type of cancer. But with the discovery of eight types of HPV, the vaccine can be developed better. Cancer is the second lady killer in the world to the death toll reached 328 thousand per year. This large study to see the data collected during 60 years on 10,575 cervical cancer in 38 countries.
